(Grades 7 & 8): Empowering Youth Through Faith and Knowledge
At Brock Elementary School, our Intermediate Program for Grades 7 and 8 is a transformative journey that prepares students for high school with a strong academic foundation, rooted in Islamic teachings and values. These years are essential for nurturing critical thinking, independent learning, strong moral character, and spiritual identity.
We integrate the Ontario Ministry of Education’s Intermediate Curriculum with Islamic Studies to ensure that students excel both academically and spiritually.
Aligned with the 2020 Revised Ontario Mathematics Curriculum:

Our Junior High students are empowered to become confident, respectful, and responsible young Muslims through various initiatives, including Student Council and peer mentorship opportunities that promote leadership and collaboration. They actively participate in community service projects focused on charity and good citizenship, helping them develop a sense of social responsibility. Additionally, regular Halaqahs with the PIC Imam and Alimah reinforce Islamic values and morals, nurturing their spiritual growth and character development.
Students engage with 21st-century tools in meaningful ways by utilizing a variety of programs tailored to the specific needs of each subject, allowing for a more dynamic and interactive learning experience. They undertake research and presentation projects that build critical thinking and communication skills, while coding and design challenges encourage creativity, problem-solving, and technological fluency.
