Our school fosters learning beyond the classroom with various extracurricular activities that inspire creativity, leadership, and school spirit. Students participate in spelling competitions, including in-school events, the Inter-Islamic Spelling Bee, and the French Spelling Bee. They also express their creativity and talent in the Interschool Poetry Competition.
Our athletes proudly represent us in Cross Country meets and Interschool Basketball tournaments, building teamwork and perseverance. Young scientists showcase their innovation at the Ontario Tech Science Fairs, and our Student Council gives learners a voice and a chance to lead.
Our school is actively networking with other Islamic schools in the region to initiate friendly competitions and foster student relationships. Extracurricular activities beyond the classroom offer students opportunities for personal and social development, as well as exploration of interests outside of academics.
These activities help in cultivating essential skills such as leadership and teamwork. They encompass a wide range of pursuits including sports, clubs, volunteering, and creative pursuits.
Our school is actively collaborating with a diverse array of institutions to provide our students with numerous opportunities for engagement beyond the classroom. Some of these partnerships include Gibraltar Leadership Academy, Pickering Library, Ontario Tech University, First Lego League (FFL), Scientist in School, Safety Village, and Habitat for Humanity, to mention some.
